Tips for Dental Emergencies

Tooth fell out?

1) Please text or call us at (718) 725- 7773

2) If it is a baby tooth, please do NOT attempt to place it back in the child’s mouth.

3) If it is an adult tooth, or fragment of an adult tooth, please place it in saliva or milk (not water!) and contact us immediately, to increase the chance that we can place it back.

Cracked tooth?

Baby teeth, or adult teeth, may crack exposing the underlying nerve. Please text us a photo of the emergency and we will triage whether it is best for the child to be seen ASAP.

Dental pain?

1) Please call or text us at (718) 725- 7773

2) Dental pain can be indicative of an underlying infection that can spread past the oral cavity. Please take pain seriously and reach out to us for our next available appointment. Please ensure that we know the child is having pain and we will get the child in ASAP.

Children’s pain may come and go, please get it checked out.
